Recent economic challenges have caused extraordinary demands on both our nonprofit organizations and government infrastructure, bringing our system of public and social service delivery nearer to the breaking point than ever before. As a result, traditional divisions between public service providers and private business are diminishing and the already overburdened nonprofit sector is being called upon to provide a collaborative bridge between them.
